I love all your advice! And the amazing places you mentioned in the last mail! Any and all Neapolitan food recommendation is great! Must try it all! And I would LOVE to have your dad’s meal - what better way to eat true napoli than at a private house? Although your dad might have something to say about that. Ha! Now I know what to order at restaurants! And you are so correct, the only amazing coffee I have ever had is in Naples. Rome makes subpar cappuccinos (sorry beloved Rome, but I hate that you like them lukewarm). In Naples I swear EVERY SINGLE cafe I went to had delicious, piping hot espresso and cappuccino. And it always tasted as good as it smelled, the way I’ve always wished coffee to taste. I’ve had some really good espresso in Rome, some excellent espresso con panna in Firenze, but Naples still is superior. Far superior. And the tomatoes, bread and bufalo in the south - absolute heaven.
Any favorite restaurants of yours? Cafes? What’s the classic Naples wine? Or are you too young to drink? (I thought 9 year olds had wine at dinner)!
