I'm from Naples and I can tell you that every little place here is magical. The most known places are Piazza del Plebiscito,Mergellina,Spaccanapoli,Napoli sotterranea and so much more! I can suggest you to take a photo of everything you'll see. And most of all,I don't know if you have already done it,but go 'Da Michele' (a pizzeria),BEST PIZZA EVER.

You are from Naples! So cool! Thank you so much for writing about this. I am pizza mad, but Napoli is the only true place for pizza! I go crazy finding a good place, because I’ve had rubbish pizza there going to the wrong place and the city is confusing for a foreigner some times. One time, years and years ago, a cabbie took us to his favorite place and I think it may have been Michele… it was incredible. But I see Eat Pray Love went there too… so I’m not sure. But now, you have made my life because we will be going straight away to da michele!!! Napoli makes the most perfect espresso and cappuccino and coffee in the world! Far better than Rome. A hot, hot, strong, not bitter coffee drink. I do love Pizzeria Bafetto in Rome because they employ the Napoli method and it’s delicious. But seriously I cannot wait for all the Neapolitan delicacies. He loves baba.
I don’t eat meat but my husband does. I love seafood and vegetables and he doesn’t drink but I love wine. Any favorite neapolitan dishes you recommend? Wines? Grazie mille!
