Hey! One of my favorite places in London is Hampstead Heath, especially during the day. It feels very outside of the bustle of London. There's really sweet shops and restaurants and you can go to John Keats's house. In Paris, if you decide to go to Versailles, definitely explore the grounds- they're beautiful to photograph and it's away from most of the tourists. I liked the grounds/cottages more than the castle itself. If you like Austen, her house in Chawton is definitely worth the trek.

Wow, you basically just highlighted my dream of London and Paris! I don’t think I even went to Hampstead Heath twelve years ago but since I fell for Keats (in Italy of all places!) I’ve been obsessed about going there. Re-watching Bright Star last week made seeing the gorgeous countryside a bucket list item. And shooting it, of course. I so desperately want to go to Keats House, too! 12 years ago I visited Versailles (I loved the cottages and the greenery more than the grand house, too!!!) but it was so long ago I barely remember being there and my (crappy old photographs I took on a “new” digital camera which took FLOPPY DISKS! Wow, it was the year 2000) they were all lost! Every time I see shots of versailles on here or flickr it makes me pine for a visit! I need to work in Chawton too somehow! I love Jane! Thank you, you are helping me flesh out the list!
