Ray Bradbury, dead at 91. When I was ten years old I read his Martian Chronicles and other ‘literary’ science fiction and he was one of the writers who not only colored my childhood, his visionary writing changed my child’s imagination. I’ve always thought you couldn’t call yourself a true science fiction fan if you hadn’t read Ray Bradbury. He was one of the best.
